Dunno how robust local government jobs are down there since I'm American, but around here, it's easy to find a job working with one without any specialized training or experience. Beats retail or foodservice for sure, although some of those positions are typically labor or customer service oriented. Gets your foot in the door if you decide you want to move up/around though.
