Oh okay. So in the US, we use GPA, or grade point average. this can range anywhere from 0.0-4.0.
An A counts as a 4, a B is a 3, a C is a 2, a D is a 1, and an F is 0. The way it works (at least in university) is you add up your grades in your courses and divide it by the number courses you're taking.
So if you have an A, 2 B's, and a C, you would add 4+3+3+2 then divide it by 4. Your GPA is a 3.0.
What does this mean? that means you have a B average in your courses. You can only have a 4.0 if you have all A's in your courses.
