I've really got to flesh out details and such, but a tl:dr version is
Character grows up and is fairly well off, loves music, singing, dancing, and was always encouraged by her father to be an entertainer. He always played on his flute for her while she danced and sang along. Some undecided tragedy happened that left her alone, with nothing but that flute left. As she grows up struggling, she comes to hate being alone. Always needing to be surrounded by someone, otherwise she starts acting irrationally and such. She somehow gets into some trouble, and is chased through a wooded area, where she stumbles upon a small glowing pond, where he drinks from it, an gains her sorcerer powers. They don't manifest immediately, but she starts having random spells start happening, and it's a bit fuzzy here right now. I'm trying to decide if she meets my friends before we started, or if she meets them after we start the campaign. But she likes to do concerts and such, as it means she's surrounded by others, and due to her childhood, it's something she likes.
It's unrefined and has a lot of working out, but that's the rough idea I'm going for.
