That said, company-level marches are fun.
My company comprises of 3 platoons, each of 40 or so people.
A company of 120 lined up in 5 rows marching perfectly in step down the road and singing marching songs together is something worth being a part of. Though it's never 120. More like 80.

There are all sorts of measures to prevent suicide.

Suicide by OD? They confiscate all medication.
Suicide from jumping? They have these metal grills off the ledge of every floor so if you jump off you just land safely.
Suicide from firearms? They never give you live rounds. Blanks neither.
