I've had a cockatiel and I currently have a love bird. (the sun in this thread is also mine). I've had birds my whole life and if anyone wants a cockatoo I would say this. They are easily the most demanding. They will pluck all there feathers out if they get stressed out. It's honestly not a bird I'd recommend to get. I love mine but I can't say I'd do it again.
That said, bare-eyes are the "easiest" of the cockatoos and I'd but the goffins a close second.

I'm very familiar with the demands of cockatoos. I'm willing to give it the same attention I would give a child if not more. At this stage I'm mainly looking for personality compatibility. Already ruled out umbrellas, molucans, sulfer crested and black palm is just out of my price range. I'm basically between goffins, bare-eyes and galahs.

price is not really a problem for the cost of the bird itself. I could probably go as high as 14k. Which only really disqualifies the black palm.
