When I was 12 I wanted to have sex with older people. And looking back I still see nothing really wrong with that. The opinion on the age of consent even varies a lot in first-world countries. In my country the age of consent is 16, but I've heard lots of Americans say that having sex with even 17 year olds is illegal. I think there would have to be a hard limit, of course, but where that would be placed I don't know. Probably around 12, from personal experience.
