Daily Most Enjoyable Yotsuba Thread!
Come one, come all, and come read a few chapters with us.
It's not porn, but it's still pretty good.

Yotsuba's daily life is full of adventure. She is energetic, curious, and a bit odd—odd enough to be called strange by her father as well as ignorant of many things that even a five-year-old should know. Because of this, the most ordinary experience can become an adventure for her. As the days progress, she makes new friends and shows those around her that every day can be enjoyable.

bump
>>707260345
Thank you kind anon
It's a Yotsuba thread tonight? Just as Donald Trump is eviscerating Hillary Clinton on the debate stage? Fuck yeah! What's up, guys?
>>707260543
Indeed, got 4 chapters for tonight.
Is that the cute anime girl #5?
Eyes are looking a little small, but otherwise good.
Not too much out of the usual, got some WoT in.
You?
>>707260659
Hey 911, what's new?
A C T I V A T E
>>707260808
For some reason I always thought it was Kowai no Koiwai.
>>707260735
It's cute anime girl #5. Also eyes are small because she's hugging my PC.
Not a lot, watching the debate. Trump is doing things to Hillary that are in violation of the Geneva convention.
doctors should describe yotsuba against depression. not that I am depressed. I just wanted to bump.
>>707260933
PRAISE KEK!
>>707260933
Did it work?
>>707260963
Her eyes are small because she's hugging?
Is this some sort of thing I'm missing out on or what?
How does that work?
>>707260096
I've never read this. But it seems like a sweet anime so far.
>>707261014
I heard most doctors recommend 1-2 chapters if moderate depression, 3-4 if severe.
I'm planning on doing 4 chapters tonight, so hopefully no one will OD.
>>707261103
Why is there so much bread?
>>707261122
No anime, and unlikely that there will be one.
However, in the recent episode of Nyanbo, Yotsuba did appear animated.
But aside from that, manga's pretty great.
>>707260943
kowai means scary though. that would be weird.
End of Chapter 90
>>707261073
It was a fortuitously-timed cap.
>>707261389
Yeah, I thought about that, too, but still.
Just never saw that first i.
>>707261359
Sorry, I meant manga. So far this seems like a sweet manga. I don't know these Japanese terms yet. Sorry.
Onto Chapter 91
>>707261432
Ah gotcha.
That's some strange mechanic.
What else can you have her do (that isn't lewd)?
>>707261561
Gotcha, no problem.
Yotsuaba was the first manga that I've ever read, it's what got me into anime/manga for real.
>>707261659
How old is it? I mean like, how long have you been into anime? I've seen it around for a while. My oldest memory of it is 2010.
>>707260808
Watched some more airing stuff, Soushin Shoujo Matoi stood out for me since it was pretty fun to watch; start of it caught me a bit off guard but it turned out decent. Just watching this debate shit right now though, might check out some more airing stuff if I missed any or just go to sleep, you?
>>707261885
First I ever watched was Digimon as a kid back in mid 2000s. After that, wasn't until around 2010 I watched Naruto then Bleach, then nothing really.Someone before me would post Yotsuba threads like this one, and I started reading Yotsuba/joining threads in 2012, and shortly after started seriously watching anime. 4 years later I'm her.
>>707261970
Leave it to the French to screw up like that.
Might check out Soushin, is that pic related?
End of Chapter 91
Onto Chapter 92
>>707261970
Anyone know of any good war anime/manga? Like with guns and stuff? No magic or giant robots. Just like "/k/: the anime"? Is that Soushin Shoujo Matoi a good war one?
>>707262150
Pretty cool.
Fun Fact: Jumbo's ancestors were giraffes.
>>707260096
Yotsuba is the heart.
>>707262501
Berserk is nogunz but pretty good medieval warfare in the beginning.
Ghost in the Shell isn't exactly war, but does guns very well. Mainly about a domestic special forces unit, anti-terrorism and such, one of my favorites, incredibly good.
Gunslinger Girl did guns pretty well, more of on the political/assassination/special forces side, very tragic though, I cried.
Black Lagoon is very action-packed, about Southeast Asian piracy and crime. Lots of guns, blood, violence.
Now that I go through my list, I guess I don't watch much war anime.
Also, Spice and Wolf is /k/ approved.
>>707261566
AS for the romantic options, you can give headpats, kiss her, touch her chest, or just flat-out have sex in public.
>>707262540
That's essentially 1/3 of my life story, hope you enjoyed it lol.
>>707262543
The more you know
>>707263101
Yotsuba is the light within.
>>707262303
>Leave it to the French to screw up like that.
They're Austrian actually, made up country in the Alps
>Might check out Soushin, is that pic related?
Nah, that's Shuumatsu no Izetta. Basically WW2 alt history with a witch mixed in. Waiting to see if a notHitler shows up which will be fun to see if he does.
>>707262501
Probably not gonna be able to find something like that that fit those conditions.
Could just check out some stuff on here http://amagicalplace.wikia.com/wiki//k/_Approved_Anime and see if any match what you're looking for.
Also that screenshot is from Shuumatsu no Izetta and not what you're looking for, I can you that at least.
This isn't right.
There was a mixup with the chapters for Volume 12/13, appears I downloaded chapter 92 twice, named one as chapter 90.
Will sort out, but onto Chapter 93 now.
>>707263349
I'm sold on headpats alone.
And the hugging.
>>707263517
But that's a French tank I'm pretty sure.
And Austria is a real country.
Do the Nips not see the madness in all this?
>>707263312
Thanks man. Berserk and Black Lagoon were great.
>>707263517
Thanks dude. I'll take a look. Didn't know /k/ approved of anime.
>>707263868
Sure, sure.
I'd highly recommend GitS off the bat, but that's just me.
Also Upotte!! is literally about girls who are guns.
Not what you're looking for, but thought I'd mention.
bempp
>>707264018
Thank you
>>707264110
thank (you) based anon, loving the yotsuba posts
>>707260096
and thus, all the newfags learned why two of 4chan forum skin styles are called yotsuba... and they also learned they can change the skin.
>707264310
Glad you're enjoying them, that's what it's all about.
I'll try and post them whenever a new chapter comes out.
Used to get an email notification, but I switched email addresses and forgot to resub.
>>707263860
>And Austria is a real country.
What I meant was is that they're from a country that would be located in Austria in reality but they're their own country in the show, separate from Austria (After anschluss).
>Do the Nips not see the madness in all this?
They don't care about anything in Europe except the Germans because Nazis and Axis.
>>707264451
>>707264310
>>707264377
Pretty sure the code 4chan is written on is called Yotsuba.
But yeah, shame how now so many less people know about Yotsuba, much less have read it.
>>707264451
How did you manage to greentext a post id?
>>707264640
Makes sense.
Can't say I'm surprised about either.
>>707264649
Is moot a weeb? He doesn't look like one. Just he seemed to really like Yotsuba. From the code to the ban page.
>>707264661
One chevron (>) is for greentext
Two chevrons (>>) followed by numbers is a post ID.
I accidentally deleted one of them from the post ID.
>>707264860
Yotsuba means "4 clover"
Which is 4chan's logo
4chan was based on the Japanese Futaba (2 leaf clover)
Not entirely sure on how moot decided on going from 2 to 4, or Yotsuba, but it stuck, and she's been an part of 4chan culture.
Moot's not that much of a weeb, but his waifu's Asuka and he really liked 5cm/s
>>707264860
>Is moot a weeb?
get out. wtf do you think 4chan is, for fucks sake!?!?
>>707265213
also 2chan is pronounced "nichan" like in oniichan.
>>707264649
>Pretty sure the code 4chan is written on is called Yotsuba.
Was based off of 2chan which was futaba channel (2 leaf) so he just called it 4chan/yotsuba channel (4 leaf). There just happened to be a manga called Yotsuba at the time where the MC holds yotsuba clovers (4 leaf clovers) a fair bit so she became the mascot.
End of Chapter 93, and end of dump for tonight.
Now we're all caught up with Yotsuba&
>>707265608
You'd think it'd be the other way around since 2chan spawned off of 2channel.
>>707265617
Pretty much, also Yotsuba's hairstyle is a 4 leaf clover.
And that concludes the 4chan history lesson.
>>707264860
4chan is a manga and anime website... that's why. it's based off of a japanese anime and manga website, moot made his own in the same format. it's a website by and for weebs. until you newfags cancered it up and ruined everything.
4chan is based off of nichan (2chan), for fucks sake.
>>707265295
Isn't it an American's only porn club? I'd know, I've been here all summer.
>>707265608
>>707265213
Moot hosts a website originally meant for Japanese culture, and he doesn't even speak the language? I'll admit, it's hard. And I heard there were like three different dialects all intertwined. Just kinda seems like you'd want to learn the language.
>>707266133
Porn is pretty centric to 4chan's userbase, but the porn boards were a mistake.
I use them all the time, but I'm in favor of purging them.
Except the loli threads on /b/, those stay.
And maybe /d/, rest can go.
By and large, 4chan has had Japanese culture at its core, but over time it's gone away from that with the addition of non-Japanese related boards.
>>707266126
I've heard of people complaining it's not like the old days. I've never heard someone complain about newfags ruining the "original days".
Must have been nice. Before people like me came.
>>707265957
>You'd think it'd be the other way around since 2chan spawned off of 2channel.
2chan is typical japanese wordplay. they love using numbers to spell shit out, and abbreviations. therefore, although 2chan literally means the same as 2channel, just abbreviated, it also doubles as a way to say "niichan". there's a whole section in japanese language on spelling things with numbers, like "yoroshiku" can be written 4649, yo(tsu)-ro(ku)-shi-ku). same with abbreviations, the abbreviate absolutely everything.
>>707266534
I've noticed /b/ is basically just porn. Kinda expected what the stories would tell. You know; hacking, raids, ect.
>>707266592
it was nice... well... sort of... it was a lot more fucked up, that's for sure. and that made it fun and disturbing all at once. now it's only whiny bitches and politics.
>>707266592
I can't comment on anything prior to 2011, but even 2011 was better than 2016.
>>707266660
Like 4423 from Dennou Coil
There was one from Shigofumi, I think.
Good stuff.
Silly Japs.
>>707266827
Unfortunately so, it doesn't belong.
You had the wrong impression going in, best you'd get is a half-assed operation.
>>707266996
99% of /b/now is underageb&. Sometimes political shills/shitposters show up.
>>707266996
I'd agree with this.
The focus on social/political issues is the worst in my opinion, and that's slightly biased.
I feel like those topics weren't as prevalent or discussed years ago, at least in my history.
>>707267092
I came in back in 2012. When memes and whatnot became popular amongst the normies. God, even the autistic shit we posted back then was better than the stuff now.
So much porn. And I do get that half-assed feeling. It's like people want this place to fail. Not even trying to fix it. Like a prostitute. Good in it's younger days. Now just a sick old woman doing it for drug money.
>>707267274
Daily Berserk/Yotsuba threads are the only times I post on /b/ nowadays. There's maybe 2-3 decent threads at a time on /b/, rest is pretty shitty.
>>707267663
I want 4chan to die so everyone leaves.
And actually die, not just say it's dying and autoplay that song from Metal Gear.
>>707267092
i haven't seen dennou coil. what does 4423 stand for? yoshinimi?
anyway, gintama is full of wordplays, to the degree it's impossible to get it all unless you're japanese. and akira is a huge homage to tetsujin 28 go, tetsuo is named after tetsujin, and so forth. it's all pretty brilliant.
>>707267772
Sometimes I'll go on /b/ just to see 4 trap threads in a row. Usually just leave after that.
>>707267809
Dennou Coil was decent, nice atmosphere and characters, plot was iffy in my opinion.
4423 stood for Yonyon-niisan, one of the girl's brothers.
Haven't seen Gintama, but that's what I've heard.
Wasn't a big fan of Akira, to be honest.
It was good, but didn't blow me away.
>>707267998
3D traps should be nuked from 4chan
>>707267772
4chan is shit now. But where else would us no-lifers go? We can just break up thousands of people and expect them to be okay. I sound like a little bitch when I say this, but you guys and vidja randoms are my only social interactions.
How does /b/ make friends?
>>707268556
I've only slightly delved into other chans, I'd go there if 4chan shut down.
Quality may be higher on other boards, but there's something intangible about here.
I'd definitely want to continue Daily Berserk/Yotsuba threads on another chan if 4chan gets nuked.
All my friends are people on my college track team, so I dunno how to actually make friends IRL.
>>707269108
The only reason on hate 4chan's anonymity. I wish lonely people like you and I could be friends.
>>707269434
We can sure be friends!
I'm here just about every night.
Although usually I'm post Berserk instead of Yotsuba, I just post Yotsuba when new chapter.
There have been many regulars who come and go throughout the years. Always nice to have them and catch up from day to day.
Sad when I don't see them for a while, and there's a good amount that have come and gone and wish they stop in just one more time.
Some going as far back as 7+ years.
>>707269739
I may not be on for a while. But if I'm on late one night, I'll be on the lookout for a daily most enjoyable x thread.
I assume the thread is ending. Ciao. Auf Weitersain.
>>707270589
Sounds good, we'll be here every day until forever.
Indeed, it's about my bedtime.
'night!
/end thread
