It really is amazing, the plot turned into something a lot more complex compared to 1, the combat is really fun, gameplay is very fluid specially when you get the form skills like aerial dash.
Yup, critical is really nice, be it for speedrunning or if you just want the game to be more challenging.
You're given more tools and damage but committing a couple mistakes means game over.
I think the game has the perfect amount of combat mechanics and platforming to for a speedrun, and I'm not into them either since I don't have the skill or patience, I just like watching.

Yup yup, I is still a great game but it has a couple flaws that make me shy away from replaying it every now and then. I also love how the mana bar works on 2.

I recommend you to do so, it's hard, but not dark souls level hard. There were some bosses that gave me a pain in the ass like Roxas, but they were really fun and felt rewarding to beat, even though I had to follow strats and basically learn his move patterns.
Sadly optional bosses become ridiculously hard in critical, good luck beating data org.

every game always has a few flaws. the main thing for me about KH2 is really just that it's incredibly long, so it's not one you can easily just replay any time you feel like it.
yeah I still need to do some of those bosses. I did all the chain of memories fights, some were incredibly difficult. but they were fun as hell.
the main thing is the frustration outweighing the fun...but I managed to play dark souls and it really does feel amazing when you finally get a boss down well enough to avoid getting hurt while you kick their ass.

I'll explain in a minute where this is coming from.
So, anyway, the concept I'm trying to say is that the probability that a certain state collapse occurs could actually be considered a primitive form of energy.
Since for any action of event to occur, it must be observed, then this probability is essentially converted INTO energy by being converted into an action (such as a particle moving left or right).
When the particles move and whatnot, and they generate energy in the form of heat or light, after the energy has deteriorated, it basically becomes probability again in the form of entropy.
So, when something is able to "siphon" entropy from one area to another, it could create a limited number of possible quantum outcomes, such as "can ONLY move right" or "MUST follow these various vector paths".
The thing that gave me the idea was when watching "James Roney Stators" on YouTube. He was able to mostly shield a single side of a dipole magnet, and (counting out the specific, poorly funded design being too full of friction), it actually was able to move on its own.
Since one side of the magnets was shielded to almost non-magnetic states (the N52 he was using had full charge on one side and could barely lift a paper clip on the other), it should only be able to observe mono-directional movement, but a force is STILL applied to whatever is near it (magnetic rotors). As such, it should be able to spin continuously
I don't believe this would violate the Laws of Conservation, as above, because all it's doing would be catalyzing probability.
