I used to go to the beach at like 8PM.
There is a section that has no lighting. It's almost perfectly dark, and quiet since people know to take in the scenery instead and keep their mouth shut.
I'd just eat takeout dinner and lay down, watching the fishers. They use these green-lit lures, so every time they cast, it looks like artillery tracers shooting towards the horizon.
