Being heavily involved in the amateur/challenger scene I get a huge kick out of the stupid shit they say sometimes, though they're not always horribly misinformed or straight up wrong and I get pleasantly surprised at times.
I do wish I had that nonchalant attitude towards the game from the start but I'm a competitive person at heart and I jumped into ranked the day I was able to.

You're definitely doing the right thing by waiting till the season end btw, if you can safely avoid spoilers you'll have a great time because honestly the suspense is brutal.
The only pictures I've seen from Amanchu are where the animation is more towards the funny side, I might pick it up if it looks like I'll enjoy the storyline.
