Great way to spend a day off. Restarting routers and what not for the 3-4 hours. I get one of these nights maybe once a month. There's just nothing that helps and I have to just wait it out. after that 3-4 hours of nothing I'll get so many random drops.It makes me want to change but how do I know it's the ISP and not just like the wires outside my house? We had a guy come out and replace our modem but that didn't help, didn't figure it would but was worth a shot. They didn't do any further testing, which they should have given our problem. Most times local providers is the way to go, but damn if it doesn't make me want to switch back to at&t.

AT&T is great with reliability here. Cost is about the same. One thought I had was it could be them doing maintenance. It usually hits about 12-4 in the morning, so probably lowest usage times.
