I own several. There are guns in basically every single home in this little town that I live. The only time somebody gets robbed is when they are on vacation, and it's always by tweakers who've already ripped off the copper out of the walls of old houses and need cash. Nobody has been murdered in this town since the 80s either. The dude who was murdered was my schizophrenic uncle who I never met, and he was shot by a cop who never got in trouble, even though there was evidence and people with information that he killed him and disposed of the body. Saw him tripping out and talking to himself in a field by his house and shot him, then dumped his body in a pit with bricks tied to his feet. A fisherman found him a few weeks later.
But yeah. Guns keep this community safe as fuck. Sure, the criminals have guns, but so do law abiding citizens. The criminals around here either get shot at or have a gun pointed at them until the police arrive, and in a lot of cases, just get the shit beat out of them after getting the gun pointed at them. I love it. I'd hate to live in a fucking city where the only people with guns are thugs and cops. That's why there's so much violence. Everybody is a pussy and scared to arm themselves.
