I actually consider it to be much more likely that they ARE military aircraft, using advanced tech that is in testing phase, or possible captured alien tech. I think it's way less likely that there's aliums visiting us all the time, and more likely that there have been infrequent visits to our planet.
I don't think it's out of the question that maybe somebody from some other world crashed here, maybe ran out of fuel, etc, shit that happens during flight. The wreckage would then be recovered and then be analyzed and advance our current tech.
I'm not going to say I have any proof, obviously, except what my own eyes have seen.
I saw another UFO one night while I was driving past Mather AFB. I was heading south. This thing came from my left, it appeared to be huge and had 8 very bright white lights on the front, shaped like a V. It had no navigation/marker lights.
It seemed to be flying way too slowly for an airplane. My view was blocked after it went over my head, until the trees cleared and I saw the back of it, floating over the runway at what I'd guess was 500 meters. I can't be sure of the proportions, distance, or altitude because it was night time and I was driving and couldn't stop on the road I was on without causing an accident.
The back appeared to be horizontally diamond shaped. Based on knowing it had a V shaped set of lights in the front and a diamond shaped back. Since I was only able to see the very front, blinded by white lights, and then the very back of it for a fleeting few seconds, I estimated it to look something akin to an Imperial Star Destroyer (yes, I know, have your laughs, but it was the closest thing I could think of without having actually SEEN the whole thing). It was big. I estimate it would have been similar in size to a C-17 or a C-5.
My 3rd sighting was just a floating blue ball of light that hovered, went suddenly down, suddenly up, and disappeared. I can't confirm that one as anything, maybe it was ball lightning
