America is a place of obscene abundance. There are fountains of water conveniently placed everywhere. Food is served in ridiculous portions, only to be thrown away soon after. People are willingly (or unwittingly) ignorant and stupid.
This is the picture I see when I try and look at America from the perspective of an outsider, especially someone from a place like Syria or from the continent of Africa.
It truly is an odd place. Not going to lie, it's pretty awesome though. All it takes is getting over or ignoring the hypocrisy of it all, or not being aware of it in the first place.
