I do feel bad for her though, she's cooped up in my apartment all day. I used to be able to take her to work with me every day! But they stopped allowing that :( I try to take her on like 5 mile walks at least 3 times a week, but she has so much damn energy.

The main reason I went ahead and got her was because I could bring her up to work with me. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have gotten her only because I wouldn't feel right keeping her cooped up.
I'm looking at other jobs that do allow dogs, maybe I can find something. I also try and take her over to my dad's or friend's place once or twice a week. My dad has a nice big yard, and my friend's in an apartment too, but at least his dog and mine can hang out and not be lonely.

New people bought the building our company leases and said we weren't allowed to anymore. The lease does technically say we aren't allowed to have pets in the offices, but the previous owners were cool with it as long as we kept them quiet and cleaned the carpets once in a while. The new owners are assholes.
I am holding out hope we might move offices anyways when our lease is up early next year. Or I find another job.
