Fuck that sounds scary. Do you also have that thing where you're not sure what's even happening after waking up? Don't really know how to explain, but it's like you wake up and everything you see and hear or feel is just like usually, but in your head there's a totally different perception of reality going on?
Can be really really ridiculous, an example I had lately was that I was too scared to move after I thought that the standby light on my beamer was actually some otherworldly thing which would kill me if I'd move into the wrong direction. Took me 15 minutes or something to realize that's bullshit.

Nah, that's different. I have that as well but there I know that I have it, and nowadays I kinda even enjoy it because from sleep paralysis I can sometimes jump into lucid dreaming.
I was terrified of sleep paralysis for a long long time, and I tried to move my small toe with all force to wake up all the time. But regarding all the other things one's mind can produce, sleep paralysis seems not so bad.
The perception thing is different, I can get up and wander around like usually. Just that I think that the world is completely different. It looks the same, but doesn't work the same. I may even make breakfast and think I'll better leave something for the dude living in my fridge door. Because it's a nice dude. He may be still a bit mad because I didn't lick the wallpaper like I'm supposed to. Never had it for more than 20 minutes, and it's getting way better since I've almost stopped taking drugs.

I feel ya. Lots of people say they have horrible nightmares, but they haven't seen anything. I think horrible nightmare doesn't even remotely sound as horrible as it actually is. Your post about your voice crackling made me real uneasy, I didn't have that before but it makes clear how deep and fucked up you go during all that.

I ask because I got these nightmarish dreams every night after I had that psychosis. There wasn't a single night where I slept well, always drowned in sweat. I had a friend who got exactly that after taking SSRIs against depression and anxiety.
