it took 3 or 4 months. when i switched to FLS i already had a years experience from previous DAWs, myna and LMMS (which is like the beginners version of FLS) so it didn't take very long to get adjusted. but i've been using FLS for about two and a half years now.

Very much yes. The thing though, is seeing him pass wast as bad as other family members who have passed. He developed dementia about 5 years ago, and since 2014 we moved into my grandparents tiny little house to live with them, and help them. So my parents and sister all cram into this tiny house, sharing rooms in the attic and whatnot, but thats a moot point. The thing is, dementia is a disease that is fairly similar to ahlzeimers disease, except you dont forget how to eat, and walk and breathe, you loose your memory become confused and eventially your organs shut down, and so for the past year he has gotten sick 3 times with pneumonia,and with every sickness, the recovery was harder, and he remembered less than before. He has been at the stage of unable to go to the bathroom himself for the past year, and has been in diapers, and we needed to shower him and take him to the bathroom, change the bed sheets when he peed them, that kind of stuff, but before he devoloped dementia, the one thing he asked us was to not just put him in a nursing home, or in a hospital and hook him up to machines unattended, so thats what we didnt do, when he was sick we cared for him at home, not knowing if he would make it through, and this past 3 days, he just layed down and couldnt get back up, his liver failed yesterday and his breathing began to gradually slow until he stopped and died, he was so far gone off morphine, he couldnt feel anything in the end, but what is weird is that it doesnt bother me as much as I would have thought, and i think its because we have seem him deteriorate so much over the past years that its almost a sigh of releif in a weird way. Of course I miss him, and I dont like to show people when I cry, so I hold that shit in, and do it when noones around, but when his wife leaned over the almost lifeless body and gave him 3 kisses saying, "one for yesterday, one for tommorow, and one for the future" fuck that got me, I am tearing up thinking about it

He had mixed, so he had an early form of parkinsons disease, and a lot of heart problems, so I think vascular, but upon researching I learned parkinsons is also considered a type of dementia, and my grandmother has had it for like 20 years now...
