Currently, I still love playing zombies(cod) every now and then. Every weekend my cousins would come over and we'd play project m variations on dolphin(so much better than on wii). Other than that, I've been playing a bit of dark souls 3 and league. I want my passion for games back, I miss the old days. Just needed to get this shit off my chest.

I'm glad I'm not the only one then. I thought I was just being a boring adult. Honestly, I have more fun modding consoles or creating custom pcs. I have a younger brother and I feel sorry for him. I try and get him to play some of the games I played growing up but he mostly plays on his shitty phone, literally a laggy piece of shit phone. All he fucking plays is shitty wrestling gamed and maybe gta if he ever uses my pc or one of the consoles. The only games he played fully that were kinda good was kh, pshyconauts, some legend of Zelda games, jak and Daxter games... Well that's all that comes to mind and those were like 2 years ago. I feel bad for him really. I try forcing him to play a game and he'll be into it for a few days and then just flat out quit it and be on his laggy shit phone playing dumb mindless games.

Yea you're right. Every year it felt like games kept getting better and better. Technology was moving pretty fucking fast. We're kinda at a bump now that games take a lot more resources to make. So I can see why they try and squeeze lots of money out of us. Obviously, real devs still make amazing games and don't need to pop out a game yearly or have tons of micro transaction,, dlc or incomplete/broken games on launch.
One thing I want most of all is games to come out polished and finished. I hate buggy, unoptimized games. The last game to just make me give up on gaming was watch dogs. First and last game I ever pre-ordered in my life. Tired of misrepresented games too.

I've been watching for games like Cave Story, Sublevel Zero, and Undertale. (yeah the last one's community is fucked) They all have lower graphical flair but their gameplay is phenomenal! Big games try to be too big and come out as something that can never truly be fixed, yet here comes the next one next year.
