If you get a top tier heavy shield and the somwhat heavyer armor you' going to be able to withstand another 2 hits from some enemies which otherwise may kill you in just one hit. Plus equip load boosts your resiliences so it's quit significant in oposition to vigor i guess.

Picked up the Washing Pole in DS3 and man, have things changed. Rocked 40/40 Int/Fth with a +10 Chaos Astora's Greatsword. Was great but I hate how slow it was.
Respec'd to full Dex with a +10 Sharp Washing Pole. Shit's off the charts.

Yeah pretty much. I don't think it's infinite vendor, but if you help someone via summoning sign you get your ember restored and gain an actual ember. I can't recall what certain enemies drop them, but I'm sure there are some.

They go two different places, but I would suggest the bridge. If you take the left you will eventually end up opening a door that is not openable from the right side. This will connect the two paths and an optional boss will be next to the door.

I didn't log mine. I died roughly 20 times. Once to a micic, a couple times to dragon armour, once to the dancer, once to the weird hippo hand things, like 5 times to the nameless king and the rest were just to toxic/poision and getting caught between enemies. Also like 3 times to fall damage because I thought I could live. The prism stones didn't scream but I still died somehow.

I have the fume greatsword but I din't like it. I do about 500 a hit with the dark sword and it has like 3 times dps and way less stamina useage and risk. Also you should try the dragon armor's boss weapon, it does a ton of damage, seems to hit for more than the fume ultra greatsword, moveset is pretty limited though.

Yeah I've played all the soulsborne games a ton. Also knight starting class is pretty broken, the longsword is insane. I switched it for the dark blade when I got around 30 strength though. Pretty much all the bosses are parryable and you have a ton of estus.
Also exploring a lot made things easy, a friend told me how to get to the sky place so I had a plus 10 weapon before I even went to lotheric castle.

Any other weapons you've liked? Estoc is pretty OP for pvp and longsword is pretty good for both pvp and pve but I haven't really found any weapons that shine for me.
The one thing I do like about the fume grtsword is it's good for gankers, you can take three out with a couple swings and it's not hard because of hyper armor.

I currently have a +10 Heavy Caestus that has A scaling in strength. At 50 strength I'm hitting ~230 per hit, you can stunlock with it, and the stamina cost per swing is low as fuck, I think the lowest of any weapon because of the 0.5 weight.
The moveset is kinda shit and the range is nonexistent, so in PvP it's debatable.

I agree with you on 2, except maybe the last boss if you don't use summons, her curse is killer. I haven't played the DLC for 2.
3 has Nameless king, Twin Princes, Dancer, and Soul of Cinder to offer. All except Dancer have two phases and all are fairly difficult, at least compared to other game bosses.
I'm playing through DS1 on PC right now (no money for DS2 or 3) and from what i've seen 3 looks a lot "cleaner" than 1, as in better AI, movement, timing, etc.

I would say it's the opposite of pointless. I gives a heavier (pun) meaning to your weight. If you're going to try to fat roll the magic wave on Twin Princes, you're not going to have a good time.
I find it more fun because it requires more build switching than the previous games. You have to choose between "Can I tank that ability or roll it?" a lot more often.

I'm playing on ps4. I've had multiple invasions with 4 people in them. Sometimes you get summoning failed if you already have someone in your world, not sure why. Chaos blade has the same moveset but beter scaling. Estoc is super OP for PvP, raipers overall are pretty dang good. You could put some points into strength, make it a quality build and get the dark blade(B/B scaling) or use a longsword (C/C or B/B at +6 or something I think?)
Your level is pretty low and there's an npc called rosaria that can respec your stats for 5 pale tounges so don't worry about it too much.

You go to the top of the tower in Undead Settlement, the one with the lift that goes both up and down. You talk to the giant, and he gives you a white branch as a sign of friendship. Don't use it, he supposedly will attack if you don't have it. It will be on a separate stack from the rest of your branches.
