I dont know why it would need to be fake, its not like the carbonaro effect where they literally couldnt do this stuff, Ive heard that they determine who gets each punishement but other than that there really wouldnt be any reason they couldnt do this show in real life, and its not like the show is made great based on the reactions of the people, that would raise some eyebrows, but the fact that the main laughs are based on the jokes themselves makes the accusations of fakeness seem unlikely.
