but from what i could see most of the files you take from a template and simply put in phrases
it's easy to code a character to make it playable, but it's hard to give it unique abilities that are not introduced to the game by default, like "frosh's long tail allows him to hop over small obstacles like a monkey" - would allow your character to jump over 1 tile of water or rocks or anything if it blocks your path
