Here's a few ideas for people to roll for.
Dedicate a Hermit to training and mating the boars. (Eventually as mounts or war creatures.)
Build a pen for the boars (we need to protect them)
Research saddle making for boars if rideable
Cut down the outermost treelike for resources.
Put a long dragging mantle made of leather and flammable materials on a boar and send them into the forest after setting the end and its tail on fire. The result should be several fires starting and being very uncontrollable.
