there was always roll/meme/edgy/porn threads.
but there were times when there were way fewer dick rate/forced meme threads. there were way few SJWs around. people from /b/ could actually raid a website or board or game without some white knight immediately destroying all the fun by posting links to the according thread on /b/.
people on /b/ had the guts to "hack" or DDOS a website or server without someone ratting them out.
on the other hand, furry threads were mainly present on furry friday. on the other days of the week, there was like 3 or 4 threads over the whole day, and they were always s/g/h mixed.
the 'community' of /b/ was way smaller, but the overall-mood was better than today.
