You know not disagreeing with you but half the drawfags here have issues with faces or at least a part of it. That's why you see so many fantasy characters, masked characters, armor, and furries. Entity tried to defend himself last night saying it was just because he has no desire to draw people. It's because they can't do it and don't practice. Humans are basic foundation of anatomy and people keep holding themselves back. We are our best reference.

I currently use a Samsung Note 10.1 with the Medibang Paint app. works out pretty great, and I'm getting more and more used to it.
But yes, for now you should try get used to what you have to see if you really want to invest in something new.
I'd be using a Monoprice(?) if it hadn't gotten destroyed.

I know faces are fucking difficult to get right without defaulting to cartoony. The only way to improve is to practice and put the work in anyways.

screen tablets cost quite a bit of money. i just bought an all-in one laptop. they are a bit cheaper. if you really want to get into tablets, cintiq is your best investment.
