How can you tell someone has Bipolar?
I know a girl that 100% has BPD, but not sure if bipolar. She can get really horny for 14 days, talks rapidly, be super annoying, claim everyone loves her, constantly seek attention, then threatens suicide, acts depressed, empty, everyone hates her etc.
The real difference is if her mood is influenced by things that happen around her / to her.
People with Bipolar will feel manic/depressed regardless of what is happening to them.
Bipolar mood swings tend to last a while longer, as well

So let's say that a person is affected by weather: if it is grey weather outside a person feels like everything is meaningless and hopes to die of some disease because that person can't commit suicide and no matter how much he tries you just feel shitty, but on sunny days everything feels uplifting and life is worth living and there is no care in the world.
It probably has nothing to do with weather though, but how many mood swings need to happen in a week before thinking that something is maybe wrong with the person?

It's hard to say. If you're worried, get them to map out their moods.
You need them to fill out a sheet with how they've felt for most of the day. Monday - Sunday. Get them to put down a number on how they felt at each hour of the day, or at threeish times of the day.
Let's say that 1 is extremely low mood, and that 10 is an extreme high mood.
7/8 = normal good feelings.
If you map out their moods like this for a week or two, you can see how much they switch, and if you're worried still, take this to a psychologist

I have bipolar, so I can only talk for myself but what you describe doiesnt sound like bipolar disorder.
So basically the swings will not be every 14 days. Also its not really moodswings, but complete personality swings here. From manic to depressed. People with bipolar can suffer from moodswings of course, but so can pretty much anyone. It depends on how severe the swings are. For me its an elliptic six month cycle. If I dont take meds I will go from suicidal at the lowest to pretty manic at the highest. Once in a while I'll go into a full on psychosis if I dont take my meds.
Anywho, it sounds like you got a hormonal teen on your hands. Try fucking her. Bipolar chicks have generally sky high libidos. As do teenagers. Either way, its a win win for your dick.
