Depending on where you live, if a prosecutor had a huge boner for you, you could be hit with some obscure indecent electronic communications act from the 90's, most state has one.
But here's reality. Let's look at what would have to happen to even *identify* you:
1) Guy must report the crime
2) Police must be able to get, at a minimum, your IP address from Omegle
3) Your service provider must be able to correlate that with your dox.
4) At this point, it's possible that the FBI may need to get involved. They won't. I've personally worked with the FBI for *actual* online harassment (stolen identity, swatting, etc. nonstop for 2 years from same guy in another country), they aren't interested in someone playing a character on Omegle. For that matter, the local cops don't give a fuck either.
Now a prosecutor has to build a case. They won't. They have way better crimes to deal with and almost every Court in the land is saddled with more cases than they were equipped to handle.
And your IP address just isn't enough to convict. They'd have to go through your computer and, at a bare minimum, show that you frequent Omegle, or were there at the time he reported.
In the report, the guy will need to be able to provide the exact date and time of the encounter, what was said, and a screenshot wouldn't hurt, if there was video.
You are absolutely fine. On top of all of this, most electronic harassment laws require **multiple** encounters, they usually require that someone be in fear of their life, and they almost always require that the victim takes reasonable steps to let you know they want the contact to stop.
In almost every state, if someone says "stop contacting me", and you do, you have literally nothing to worry about.
