Fast forward a few months and his brother has been driving the jeep when it isn't broken down. One day he got home from school at around 230 and started working on the jeep in an open garage while it was running. Because it ran like shit and there were no cats/anything else he passed out pretty quick even with the door open. He laid there for about an hour before one of his parents got home and drug him out, but he was brain dead at that point.
Naturally, people started pointing the finger at T, because both the police and EMS reports mentioned the shit Jeep as being the cause.
Here's the kicker though: T made up a totally bullshit story about how he found his brother's "suicide note in a secret compartment in the jeep that only we know about" which basically absolved T of any guilt. People bought it but we didn't, and he would never show us the "note". His story changed a bit over time to make it more believable but basically his shitty work and stupidity killed his brother and he's content letting everyone remember his little bro as a depressed loser suicide.
