No, the joke in this picture is how ridiculous it is to hate someone for bringing water. It's been stated multiple times that the person in the picture is likely in military training, and needs to drink larger volumes of water. Also the poster saying "i hate college" is by itself telling, but also shows how they move their hate from an insecurity (I'm not doing good in college) to an easy scapegoat (fucking white people).

The jug is just so much more economically viable and easier. Water bottles on campus and around town cost a dollar, but it's only 29 cents to fill up an entire jug so I can drink as much water as I want for practically nothing. I don't want to be seen as some pariah on campus or whatever though.

Might be biased since I live in central Arizona, a literal desert, but pretty much everyone drinks lots of water here. Especially if they're in some kind of training or if they play sports. Women too but they usually have like one or two liter bottles that they carry in their bag. Especially if he's ROTC I could see him drinking that much water. Even people here on our wrestling team would bring gallon jugs because the temperature spikes like crazy
