My main problem stems initially from the DMCA take downs that started on youtube back 2011 (when they were heavily enforced). It was supposed to be just down take down full movies and tv shows. It has gotten to the point where legitimate and transformative content can be taken down. Philosophically, since they have encroached on this territory, I see this as an abusive measure taking place. Say if a more prominent figure (I like a politician) doesn't like something being posted about them. They can take it down. It does stink a bit of going down the Orwellian "memory hole".
