I would also like to add that Dark Souls is insanely overrated. It's not hard once you know where an enemy spawns. The only times I fucking die in that game is when a new enemy pops out from around a corner. The fights them selves are fairly simple. You just roll.
The story fucking blows as well. There's no actual narrative a dead guy just goes "hey, you look pretty rad, go do some shit!" and on your way you go. At no point in the entire game did I feel an urge to actually do anything.

You can see they ran out of time and ideas. Undead burg is a really well curated level with everything leading into each other n wrapping around really well, blighttown was super dense and twisting like a shanty town should be (swamps a bit meh but there's not much creative you can do with a sewage lake) but then anor londo shows you this huge city which you just fucking skip past by going through the rafters of one building

Well to be fair Anor Londo was still cool, and it would have been difficult to make the entire massive sprawling city playable.
