I don't know how much of it is a millenial thing. I got really into drugs early on because they were easier to find when underage, but went to mostly alcohol because it just gets my rocks off. I keep hearing about the growing opiate problem, which I have experience with and can understand, but i don't think its generational so much that it comes with hard times for the economic class. Most junkies i know from college, and were well-to-do before the skag. Having family with problems makes it an even steeper hill to climb. Still, i feel like a lot of addiction is a genetic or familial issue more than that of society or individual generations as whole. Either way, the generation you're born into is part of your circumstances of birth and shapes your decisions, so i'm on the fence.

Yeah health care at this point is the saving gace for Canada other than the general safety.
