Fluffy thread
no whiny hugboxers edition
>>713826395
In my experiences it seems to be the abusers who are more prone to whining whenever hugbox is posted.

>>713827137
unfortunately, we've been having a few persistant trolls in here lately. let's hope they are asleep now
I dont understand this fluffy shit, what exactly is the appeal?
>>713827399
>>713827137
>>713827399
see? it begins. it's their usual strategy. soon, they will be yelling "muh hellgoblahs"
>>713827399
Dark humor and schadenfreue, with some pretty unique feels in addition. Kind of like Happy Tree Friends but psychologically darker.
>>713827461
nah I was just scrolling past and I don't really get it.
>>713827444
That kinda makes sense but why do they all have to be written like they're autistic?
>>713827546
I see, it kinda seems like low hanging fruit to beat up what is essentially retarded talking guinea pigs.
>>713827461
I'm an abuser and I hate hellgremlins. Why abuse them if they already abused themselves? The whole attraction is in crushing their spirits and shitting on their happy-go-lucky view of the world.
>>713827707
>That kinda makes sense but why do they all have to be written like they're autistic?
Yes. Their low intelligence and naivety are their main defining features. They are simply too naive for this world, like carebears in a fallout universe.
>>713826477
moar?
>>713827707
You just don't get it. No one does at first.
>>713827936
sorry, that's all. it's old af so it's highly unlikely that we'll ever see more
>>713827399
My reasoning is they deserve what shit is coming to them. They represent the worst of humanity. They are self-entitled assholes who feel they deserve whatever they demand. They will contentiously make the decision to run away to have kids, then when they experience the horrors of the outside world, they want their owner to take them back in
>>713827812
ok what about the fact that about 99% of these are poorly drawn, it almost seems as if only one person draws this stuff and that is literally the only way to get it.
>>713828009
Not to be a dick but it really sounds like you're projecting there.
>>713828009
Wrong. That's the shittiest reasoning and the shittiest headcanon. Its about exploring what extreme asymmetrical relations of power can do to the human psyche. Its also about juxtaposing idealized child worldviews (via the fluffs) with the brutality and indifference of life.
>>713828107
>99% of these are poorly drawn
kek /b/ only gets the best bits of art, you should see the booru if you want to see poorly drawn.
People start here on these images, it introduces them to the concepts and the world. Then they start reading the stories on the booru.
>>713828231
i wish there was some scoring system on the booru, most stories posted there are worse than bad and i stopped giving the tiniest damn about them. waste of time.
>>713828231
I just looked on there and this literally brought me to tears of laughter.
>>713828386
Eh, you can usually tell if its going to be shit with a quick skim through, and if it doesn't look awful you can read it and see if its any good and if it is any good you can check the author page and get a bunch of similar quality stories.
You browse that booru long enough you learn how to work around its extremely bad UI.
>>713828139
This.
Fluffies are about sapient beings living an unfraily tortured existance, while hg's about a childish hate-fantasy like punching a pillow.

I really feel like these are made by people low on the autism spectrum, seriously guys, is this supposed to be a type of porn or something?
I feel like I walked into a gay orgy while looking for a new pair of shoes to buy or something
>>713827399
There is not a more exquisite source of schadenfreude in existence. The premise of fluffies has inspired people to create excellent works of tragedy and body horror. The world is just plain interesting too.
>>713828888
chekt
And no its not porn. Fuck outa here.
>>713828888
if this looks like porn to you I have some bad news about who's the autistic one
>>713828888
porn is generally frowned upon, though it's a part of abuse
in this case, however, it's a part of castration punishment/abuse, a popular trope
>>713828997
>>713829068
>>713829115
I'm just trying to figure it out, this is a really weird and alien thing to me.
Do you, the people who enjoy this stuff, consider yourselves to be well balanced and happy individuals?
>>713829315
i think i made myself clear in the op.
go troll newfriends
>>713829455
>>713829315
I am. I'm a sadistic fuck when I see fluffies but since I started creating and visiting these threads, I've been generally more happy, since my anger has already been vented on these shitrats
>>713829315
I'm not, I for one am deeply depressed.
Incidentally my therapist says fluffies are good for me, since they help with handling experiences from my own past without getting overwhelmed by them.
>>713829491
>>713828888
QUAD!!!
>>713829514
>>713829315
You're asking whether I'm a psychopathic animal abuser filled with rage or a normal person? I'd say I'm a normal person with morals and a relatively positive view of the world.
>>713829482
go eat shit, I'm asking reasonable questions.
>>713829495
>>713829499
I see, I can understand the therapeutic nature of this, it's great to let out anger in controlled ways.
I'll get out of everyone's hair now, enjoy your day guys and thanks for the insight.
>>713829804
you're also a troll fodder
>>713829632
check em
>>713829847
He's obviously not a troll, just a stupid person.
>have plenty of ideas for fluffy pics and comics
>bad at drawing so it takes several hours to finish a single frame
>results better than booru average, but time wasted is unacceptable
What to do? If someone else could at least sketch the lineart, I could produce new content about ten times as fast.
>>713829547
more ?
>>713831284
thats it. the artist fagged out and quite the booru a while back. pretty common occurrence in the fandom, to be honest
>>713831389
God dammit
>>713831185
decrease quality
quality requirements for fluffies are quite low. it's the idea that counts
>>713831389
peple get bored with this shit. can't really blame them.
>>713831482
it's shit
>>713831613
that's the point
>>713831613
>>713831646
or in other words, shit with a good idea is worh much than artistic piece of dry kibble
>>713831646
>>713831742
cancer gtfo my /b/
>>713831579
It'd be one thing if that's what they did, just got bored and quietly disappeared. But that artist, and quite a few others, make a big scene and quit because they don't like people criticizing them and their art on the booru. Hence why I term it "fagging out."
>>713831786
we wouldn't get that fluff face if the author was any good at drawing
>>713831816
i'm still quite sure they just got bored and didn't want to admit it. people love drama, especially "artists"
>>713827216
this is perfect
>>713828964
One of my favorite comics
>>713831482
I'm still worried that if I don't draw well enough, I'll have wasted a good idea on a picture no one bothers to copy. And then no one else would use the same idea either because it's already been done.
That example picture is about what I can do on my first five to ten minutes. From there on it's two to five hours on fixing the errors, polishing the lines, adjusting angles and so on until the result looks like intended.
>>713826395
Got a feeling your weirdos are gonna do something reaal fucked up to a bunch of hamsters some day
HOW IS THIS A GOOD READ TO YOU FKING EXPLAIN. ARE YOU TURNED ON BY THIS BULLSHT? EVERY PERSON YOU EVER MET OR LOVED WOULD HATE YOU FOR THIS CRAP GO TO HELL FAGGOTS
>>713833360
Have you read the thread? I'm fairly sure this has been answered in it once or twice.
>>713832937
Just look up some tutorials on how to draw cartoon characters and you'll learn how to make a decent fluffy in no time.
>>713832937
i know the pain. i'm in the process of writing a book (a proper one) and the number of times i had to re-write smaller or larger chunks of it just to change them again is ridiculous. it's hard to leave it be when it's good enough, not perfect, and it's never perfect.
maybe you could try "30 minutes challenges"? a friend of mine, an illustrator, gave it a chance just for fun and it taught him to be efficient at his work. you spend 30 minutes on a piece and no matter how incomplete it is when you the bell tolls, you leave it be, even in the middle of drawing a line.
on a side note, you must be the first creator that is worried now about his work being stolen, but discouraging others from following in your steps. you're the hero we need lol
>>713833360
Go away you fluffophobic shitlord. This is a safe space for fluffy abusers, and it's a basic human right for us to do this if we want.
>>713833618
It's not about knowing how to draw, it's about being really bad at making the lines match my idea. For example, I've been drawing this whole time and this is where I've gotten in the last 30 minutes.
>>713833934
Looks good. You're using a tablet, right? Try drawing a rougher sketch first, like you'd do with a pencil and paper. Refine the lines as the last step. If you start doing precise lines too early, it'll be slower.
>>713834341
I'm using Gimp and mouse. The grey lines are the rough sketch, dark black are the "final" ones that still need to be adjusted.
>>713834477
https://lazynezumi.com/
You'll need that if you're using a mouse. It's got a bunch of smoothing options to make mouse painting far easier. It's not free, but there's a 30 day trial.
>>713834736
Oh, and I think it's only for Photoshop. Shit. Well, still useful if you plan on acquiring PS.
>>713834911
I've also heard recommendations about some anime drawing program, but haven't yet gotten around to trying it.
>>713835430
...and luckily I just found out line smoothing options in Gimp as well. Still, the greatest problem is the lack of skills of hand, which I doubt there are any programs to fix it with.
>>713835699
wacom tablet or just draw, plenty of people on the booru don't have tablets and just take pics of their drawings
>>713835779
I've thought about a tablet too, but does it help when I'm not that good at drawing with pen and paper either?
>>713835699
Just practice, i advise you to use pencil and paper instead of mouse.
Im mid-low tier artist, learnt perspective and expression and still cant draw proper line
Btw how is your handwriting
