No, but furries follow the same rules as everyone else when it comes to attention and acceptance and numbers. The longer they're out in the open, the more special snowflake and retarded they get. At first, they're just people with an interest... and it starts becoming a serious part of their lives, and eventually part of their identities (talking about the group as a whole here).

Blame it on persecution or whatever you want, but they kept their shit in check and most of them didn't allow their tastes to affect their behavior. As time passes you end up with the snowflakes in the spotlight and everyone's speaking with a lisp and prancing around for attention and giving fashion advice.
