I named my fluffy stallion Bruce after Bruce Banner. Why? Because he has a purple mane and tail with green fluff. Yeah, so he's not quite the proper colors for the Incredible Hulk but you don't get much choice when you're picking your future pet from the 50 cent discount bin.
Bruce has been generally a good pet though we do have some trouble now and again which requires punishment and behavioral reinforcement. Many fluffy owners nowadays are switching from using a sorry stick to the more hands on approach of directly spanking their pet on the hindquarters when it misbehaves.

I noticed the first infraction of the house rules when I came home from work and entered Bruce's safe room. The sound of Bruce's femur breaking along with his scream made me release my grip. He tumbled off of my lap onto the floor and then tried to backpedal away from me. His left hind leg was bent at an unnatural angle and the muscles were really starting to swell up.

However, instead of merely suppressing an individual fluffy's sexual attraction to brown would-be partners; the engineering amplified itself and even overpowered maternal instincts. Not only will mothers ignore brown foals; they will actively kill them. This was never the intent; as the predisposition was supposed to be mild distaste towards adult fluffies, as opposed outright violence against infants. Furthermore; the subsequent test generations were to be further bred to eliminate (or repress as much as possible) non-colorful fur tones.

Oh boy, one of the biggest blunders in the company history. This is actually pretty personal to me; but don't start pointing the finger yet.
It took a long time to produce the first viable Alicorn; the first attempts didn't even take in the womb. Subsequent tests left the foals with a slew of deformities and general headaches for us. Even now, Alicorns have a tendency for "derp syndrome" wherein they'll go walleyed in the face of overstimulation. [Side note: Fluffies like these make great therapy pets for Autists]
What follows is the story as it unfolded. I has been with Hasbio for two years as an animal behaviorist, it was early in the morning and I get a frantic phone-call from my higher up.
