Sadly, this patient killed himself, which was of course a direct result of taking the drug. Well this is half the point I'm making. These abilities push the boundaries of humanity to near breaking point, so you're right, with the right care it doesn't always need to be a bad thing. That's what I'm trying to bring to the table. More understanding, more empathy, and subsequently, a better level of care for these people. Some of them fear what they can do, and like I say, with the brain under unnatural duress anyway, this can be a real trigger for some kind of breakdown.
