I live in a rural area and it's all forest. I grew up wandering around the woods, exploring, building forts, etc. There's a big field way in the back behind my property that's been part of a farm since the 1690s. We used to go up there and stare out for miles, in awe of the view. It was huge, with milkweed growing on the northern slope and feral apples growing on the southern slope. My entire life I've never seen another human being in the woods or on the field. I move a lot as an adult but every few years it so nice to come home and go out there and enjoy it all again.

when I moved out I took most everything and decided I didn't care about the rest, which was good because she'd call me up and be like "I found x,y,z" (often my art projects) and I was like "fuck it don't care do whatever" because I wasn't getting twisted over that shit.

damn that's sad about the bike. problem i have is when i've moved it's by plane (overseas or cross-country) so i have to leave shit behind. lots of electronics and pro audio gear, musical instruments, etc. so it sucks trusting that shit. there's plenty of room but everything gets moved around and abused. i'm leaving again in january and it might be a few years before i'm premanently established and i can have all my shit shipped to me

Anyway, we broke up like 2 1/2 years ago but not because we wanted to, it was because I had to move away from him (long complicated paintful story).
