I have one idea. I am very interested in psychology and have been studying it for a bit, mostly psychforums. Found one tidbit that explained why fetishes arise. A good first step might be to help others in a honest way, not to manipulate them, not to get something for them oepr anything else like that, just to get your ego at a stable level by giving you a fulfillment of good deeds which gives you more security and as other people will like you for honest good deeds, they will like you which might boost your ego more in a good way.
Maybe charity work with elder people? In that way you might build up contacts too.
