Once again I think that reduction of poverty, and an increase in general stability and education inevitably leads to the increase of secularism
you see that trend in every developed nation except the United States, but that's kind of a special case

Come to my house in Scotland, I'll show you.

I agree, but when will universal basic incomes become an actual thing, people get lazy when they know the government will give them X amount of pay for doing feck all, plus the rise of AI makes thing harder since the highest qualified jobs will be the only real useful ones but again this would push people to pursue high end jobs compared to the current generation born 2000 > 2020, I myself am trying to learn Astronomy > Astrophysics whilst working second line IT support job...fun time ahead.

When we're at that point, I think machines that are smarter than we are are going to be making most of the decisions for us - they'll probably come up with a system that works well enough
will be kind of a relief, really
I think astronomy and astrophysics are great fields to study. I'd recommend you some books, but I think mine are a bit dated now, they're from the 60's

Isn't it the convention to use masculine pronouns if the gender is unknown?
>>710675105
Pretty cute. I like the boobies. Why?
>>710675280
Isn't that "they"?
>>710675377
people use 'they' now that people get their panties in a twist over pronouns
but I think the traditional use is he
>>710675182
Don't feel bad, 23.jpg has probably never replied to anyone, lol
>>710675377
huh Wikipedia actually has a pretty thorough article on it, not a bad read
"Another target of frequent criticism by proponents of gender-neutral language is the use of the masculine pronoun he (and its derived forms him, his and himself) to refer to antecedents of indeterminate gender. Although this usage is traditional, its critics argue that it was invented and propagated by men, whose explicit goal was the linguistic representation of men's superiority."

>>710675105
thats good for a Meesh.
but personally, i dont like breasts that big.
could add a little more texture to make them seem more furry. Are they supposed to be related at all, i dont get why one has nice yellow hair and the other has blonde short hair. Also needs paws.
There, I critic'ed
and i need to go eat dinner, be back later for the night haul.
>>710675926
From Marriam Webster:
>The use of they, their, them, and themselves as pronouns of indefinite gender and indefinite number is well established in speech and writing, even in literary and formal contexts.
I mean, I get called "too PC" a lot here, but I don't really see why it's so hard for people to call someone by what they want.
>>710676346
>i dont like breasts that big.
>>710676458
Oh yeah I definitely don't have a problem with it, and usually use neutral pronouns, myself
just pointing out that is has historically been a correct convention to use 'he/him/his'
>>710676760
I suppose. But then again a lot of things that were common practice are frowned upon these days.
As an interesting sidenote, in the software world hypothetical users are by default "she". As in "when she comes into the site here, what would she expect?".

I mean, you guys brought Hitler to power so that's not too surprising.

>>710680950
I've visited several docs in the past, none could find a definitive reason for my headache and migraine. I've got headache around 2-3 times a week, and a full blown migraine at least once a month. it sucks being in pain for at least several hours without being able to do anything against it. (painkillers don't work for real migraine)
