Secondly, America hasn't been multicultural in the past. It's been American. And the American culture has traditionally been Germanic/Celtic European Christian culture. Never in our past have we been an equal mix of Chinese, Polish, Arabian, etc. The ideals that founded our country were drawn from the culture of our founding fathers, which as I mentioned, were Germanic (Anglo-Saxon) Christians.
Thirdly, explain to me one benefit of multiculturalism. Because history is not on your side in this one. The Ottoman Empire imploded because it failed to incorporate it's conquered territories, Rome imploded due barbarians who failed to continue Roman traditions, the Irish hated the English because they were Anglo-Protestant, not Celtic-Christian.
