When you say stabilize do you mean with me getting back on track with myself after the whole affair?
Honestly I was relieved. But I will say during the whole thing I had to take breaks, make it look like I was offline at times, go out for walks while wrecking my brain what to do or just leave. What turned into wanting to help somebody grew out of my control.
So overall It took me about a week or two but during the whole thing it was keeping me awake at times, most notably with her wanting a romantic relationship and me trying to be realistic. I at least know now where the line is and not to cross it.
I dont know if I should leave my husband or not. His PTSD has gotten to the point where he faints every day. He doesn't work, he doesn't help around the house. He sits and plays games all day.

In a single post the entire thread was derailed and everyone wanted me to leave.
I've proven to myself time and again that I don't belong anywhere. When you come to me and say "this time it's different" it's just the innocent ramblings of a naive child to me. I know I will only grow to be hated and it will cause me more pain by the day to try and stay. So I left the moment things started to go wrong. To save myself the heartache.

Ahh, I see. It's impossible to make it work with someone who has checked out and given up on life. You'll have to let him know just how it affects you to see him that way, be heartfelt and encourage him to try again. If he refuses, then it's out of your hands. I know it's painful to walk away from someone you still love, but your happiness and future are important too.
If you do decide to walk away, be sure to let someone know the state he's in and that he's in danger of suicide so that you don't have to feel solely responsible for keeping him alive.

I'm leaving because I started to enjoy seeing the same faces day after day and I started to remember my conversations with them. It's the first step down a long path that I've walked a hundred times, and it'd be insanity to allow myself to do it again.
