If you want to be told cool stories and learn stuff "This American Life" is a awesome podcast. And it's been around for a while so you have a large back catalogue so no need to wait week to week. I also listen to "Fatman on Batman" Kevin Smith's podcast on comic books and movies. "Ask Me Another" is a really smart game show that NPR sends out as a podcast each week. They use smart ways to mix things like anagrams with pop culture it really makes you use your brain trying to keep up. And when my mind is busy time goes much faster for me at least. they call him misinformed and just "some stupid stoner", but in reality he's a pretty decent guy. Yeah he can come out with some misinformed opinions once in awhile, but he's doing a fucking 3 hour conversation, not an interview usually. I would say 9/10 times as well either the guest will check him, young jamie(producer) will check him, fans will check him, or he will become more informed on his own and correct his mistakes.
At times he can get a little long winded and repetetive, but if you look at how you talk to your friends and repeat the same fucking stories over and over again cause they didn't hear a conversation you had yesterday it's the same shit.
Joe's got good intentions, his podcast has pretty good guests at times, and really changed the way podcasting is with his long form, unedited conversations.
