A lot of Americans want to be a 'rockstar' of some sort or work a 'pink collar' type job (something in entertainment or the arts; shit like game design, screenplay writing, producing buzzfeed videos, photography, etc.) because those are the kinds of jobs that require very minimal physical effort, are enjoyable to do, are rewarded at a middle class to upper-middle class salary, and you get automatic adoration from random strangers (i.e. popularity).
Unfortunately the reality is unless you're genuinely ultra talented, connected, or just a hot girl, that's really a pipe dream.
I would suggest you go to college for real shit: Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Business, Medicine. Or learn a skilled trade in high demand that wont soon be replaced by automation: computer technician, software development, mechanic, plumber, AC repair/installation, electrician, etc.
You'll actually finish school in short order and have a relatively decent paying job immediately. Then in 5 years you'll be making really good money and if you live frugally you can actually take time (as in work just 4 days a week) to pursue your dream as a pink collar without having to be a 'starving artist'.

At this point television has never been as good as it is now. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, even some of the tv networks are putting out content at a higher rate than before. I suspect it's because the cartels are being shattered by streaming services and pay channels and have to compete for eyeballs. But that's all the more reason why right now is the time you shouldn't be watching TV at all or spending a lot of time on the internet. I would say limit it to one hour a day even on your days off of school/work, and in that one hour, make sure it's something worth watching. Even character-driven shit like Lost, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc. is an enormous waste of time. You should be watching something of real artistic merit. No, you can still get a loan, it's just an easy way to increase your credit score. A credit score is mostly worthless until you need to take out a loan, buy a house or a car that you're not paying the full amount for(which requires a loan or payment program). If you can't pay for the full house or car, the credit score will help with getting a lower down payment(the amount you have to pay to walk away with the property).
Bottom line is, get a credit card with low monthly payment or no annual fee and don't use it unless it will save you from missing a payment to a bill/not have gas to make it to work/something like that. Then pay the full balance THAT MONTH.
