I don't have a choice. Windows 10 brute forces that shit.
>>707674704
I'm sure it can be stopped.
>>707674951
Nope, it can't.
>>707674367
In case anybody was interested in some of the Fursuit clips from Freyashibe

>>707674987
Install 3rd party firewall.
block windows update from connecting to anything.
>>707675115
Too lazy.
Back!
>>707675398
Maybe, but I don't care enough to do it. I'm actually just waiting for it to fuck up one more time so I can move to Linux. I'm also too lazy to install Linux otherwise.
>>707675577
I never got the obsession with linux. why would you willingly use something with such a lack of programing and support?
>>707675960
It's more customizable, quicker, and generally easier if you know what you're doing. It has a higher learning curve depending on which kernal you use, and it's just all around better. You can always use WINE to run other programs that don't work.
I think. I've never really used it before, so I'm probably wrong about all that.
>>707676304
Windows is customizeable too.
And super easy. I've never found any linux to be easy.
Sure, you can use some windows emulator or sandbox or whatever to run windows programs, but ....why not just run windows instead?
>>707676304
Sounds like it takes more time to figure out than I want to have to spend.
>>707676304
Er, distro. Not kernel, which I spelled wrong anyway.
Yeah I'm not smart.
>>707676622
I just hate Windows. I always have, but I've been too lazy to learn how to program competently, mostly because I'm retarded and it's intimidating.
>>707676644
It's not for everyone. Not even for me really.
>>707676644
Also, that's what you call a secure tripcode.
I'm not aware of any way to search a custom string for secure.
>>707676848
I only hate it when it changes.
That's why I ran XP until 7 had been out about 4 years.
And why my 7 has been reconfigured to very closely match xp.
If 8bit or Mew or someone who was actually smart and knew what they were talking about were here, they'd tell you why.
>>707676869
I don't really mind. Is it still password protected for the normal tripcodes?
>>707677093
your password is your tripcode.
>>707677028
See, I'm not that kind of person. I like to do shit my own way, and I hate the style and layout of Windows 10. It's more aesthetically pleasing than past iterations, but it's a huge pain in the ass program-wise.
>>707677064
I dont into keyboards. Probably a major reason I dont into linux.
man chinese people are brutal...
-herm guy
>>707677225
Most people would be lost trying to use my computer.
>>707677248
What do you mean you "don't into keyboards"? Do you use only touch screens?
>>707677191
Getting lost again here. So basically, I could do
#name#password
or just roll with what I've got?
>>707677395
I take that as a challenge, and when I'm put up with a challenge like that, you can bet your ass I won't eat or sleep until I figure it out.
>>707677402
No, I type on my keyboard. but that's all I use it for.
I do nothing else with it. Not command line crap, not keyboard shortcuts.
I'm not even at a desk, my keyboard hen I use it is on my lap. but most of the time it's on the floor.
>>707677492
name #trip
>>707677602
I don't do that stuff either, mostly out of laziness. Keyboard shortcuts are a'ight though. I'd learn how to use the command prompt if it were to ever serve me any purpose, but right now I don't see any reason to.
>>707677519
nothing to figure out really, just would be confusing to someone used to vanilla windows boxes.
Also, 90% of everything on my computer is right on my desktop.
>>707677656
Wait so then the password would be what's displayed?
I feel like the secure tripcodes are easier to use.
>>707677801
but linux is traditionally more keyboard based then mouse/GUI
>>707677824
>90% of everything on my computer is right on my desktop.
>>707677891
I don't see what your point is here.
>>707677885
No, your 'password' will never be displayed.
the only real difference between a trip and a secure trip is you can search out custom trips that say real things, like mine. you cant do that with a secure trip, it will always be gibberish.
>>707678070
Just that it's a reason I dont care for linux.
I dont do keyboard. I prefer mouse and GUI.
>>707678197
I don't know why you would neglect making things quicker and easier for yourself, but alright man. More power to ya.
>>707678348
What would make it quicker or easier?
>>707678111
You mind typing out how you do it? Just omit the password with xx or anything else sensitive.
I feel like I need to be spoonfed this shit. how embarrassing.
>>707678394
Like using Ctrl+X to cut and Ctrl+V to paste. It's easier than right-clicking. I can click a post number, highlight, cut, paste, and post in the previous thread and link it all in 5 seconds.
>>707678589
Though that's just looking at the post times because my internet is slow. It's actually more like 2.5-3.
>>707678444
right now, you have name ## tripcode. the ## makes it a secure trip.
Single # is a mormal trip, not a secure trip.
you can dl programs that will search for whatever combination of letters / numbers you want as a trip. but you cant search for a secure trip.
And even though you can search for it with a program it's still extremely unlikely that anyone would ever be able to search out the same string.
>>707678833
Something like this then? testing :P
retry :/
>>707678589
I think it's just as easy for me. I dont know how to type for real so to do ctrl c or ctrl v with the keyboard I have to look at where my fingers are. easier to just do it with 2 mouse clicks while never taking my eyes off the screen.
I do the ctrl stuff at work as the corporate computers have a lot of mouse features disabled. I still prefer mouse.
I'll stick with this for now. I'll dick around with it tomorrow or something.
Thanks for the help though.
>>707679043
Yep, that's a normal trip.
You will notice that even if you used the same string as you did for the secure trip you now have a different output string.
>>707679182
Oh, I don't even look at my keyboard when I type because I know where every key is. I have a faggy gaymer keyboard with stupid lights, but I don't use them. I just type in the dark because it's less obtrusive. I've actually been wanting to get a fully blank keyboard for a few years now, like this one.
>>707679241
Also searching for custom trips can be slow depending on your hardware and how many characters you are looking for.
My machine will search on average about 100 million tripps per second and at that speed anything ever 7 characters will take a very long time to find.
>>707679474
Yeah, not me. There really were no computers when I grew up so learning to type wasn't a thing.
>>707679596
>100 million tripps per second
What the fuck do you have? An Intel Xeon? I have an i5-4690K and I only get 15 million.
>>707679731
I guess that makes sense. You could always learn though. That's why I want to use Linux: I love learning. It's just intimidating because it's so much to learn.
>>707679904
Naw. 8 core AMD FX-8350 oc'd to 4.7 ghz
But most of the work gets done by my graphics card and even it isn't too impressive. A Sapphire R9-270X
>>707680264
Oh, that makes sense then. Pretty nice.
Work? What do you mean by that?
>>707680456
the program I use uses the graphics card as well as the cpu
>>707680617
I thought so. I just use Tripcode Explorer. I don't care enough to delve into other shit.
>>707680740
>>707680766
That was about a 1 minute run to get the screen shot just now.
>>707680766
I may have to try that. I have a GTX 970 so I could probably get twice that.
>>707680944
>GTX 970
Maybe...
I dont know if Merikens plays well with the green team
>>707681055
I'm about to find out. 15M is slow as shit.
>>707681487
That's a big fucking horse.
Also, who is that? I'm curious by the FB filename.
>>707681634
Random girl from a draft horse page.
It's not supposed to be porn. just happened to be easily accessible on my desktop for a page bump.
>>707681817
They're both quite pretty.
>>707681912
Yeah, not bad.
I'm never a big fan of Clydesdale.
This is how you get dubs.
>>707682031
Ah ha, so it was a Clydesdale. I figured my dumbass would have got it wrong and it was some lesser known breed. They're quite beautiful in my opinion.

Halflingers are good horses.

>>707682237
Howdy.
>>707682343
>Halflinger
Yeah, something like that. Never heard of it.
I wish I'd have grown up around horses.
and I'm back
can't sleep?

Man, the horse in that video is beautiful. Such a gorgeous mane.
