I would consider it, myself, but I think I'd rather get one that still had its limbs so that it could be a little independent of me and be able to get exercise and play on its own. Plus, a lot of the comics show pillowfluffs as being depressed about their plight.
To me, amputation is something that should only be used when medically necessary such as when a broken leg is destroyed beyond repair or has taken gangrene.
