Additionally, my father in law had a felony arson charge on his record from when he was young and tried to kill himself. Last year I contacted the governor's office with an explanation, asking for a pardon. They looked into it and granted him a pardon. He can now do whatever he wants. I know there are other ways to get BS charges dropped as well. Usually they are laid on a person for their benefit at the time.
