i heard voices in my beats studio headphones one day when i wasn't listening to anything. everything on my comp was muted but i heard faint voices really far away. so my theory is it picked up frequencies of some conversations, radio or phone, more than one at once, and it was extremely quiet so i had to try really hard to try to tell what they were saying.
even then it wasn't coherent bc of the multiple voices but it was freaky to say the least. probably what schizophrenia feels like.

Some people have told me it was an alien abduction. Others say it was poisoned food or whatever. So I was hiking a trail deep in the woods a little over a year ago. This was in the Great Smokey Mountains national park. I'm fairly experienced in hiking, climbing, and survival. I was about 3500 feet up and set up camp for the night on a clear rock ledge. My chest was tight and I was freezing cold. I had the feeling of falling and then it was nothing. I later woke up in the hospital. I was cut up pretty bad with both legs, left arm, and a few ribs broken. Apparently I was found by some hikers that were crossing a river and thought I was dead. I was washed up on some rocks a few miles from where I had set up camp. All of my gear was gone from that spot too. Not sure what to make of it. I just don't go out into the wilderness alone that often anymore.

And the fact that it happened inside my mind does not make it any less real.
The fact is also that I can't disprove that it did not happened in our plain of existance but at diffrent frequency.
After comparing it to many near similar stories I came to the conclusion that something strange did happen, and it was not only a dream.
I don't know what it was. I have only theories and conjectures.
I believe I was witness to something that we can't yet scientifically explain but it does not make it less real.
Of course I can be wrong. But I don't think so.
Had a weird thing happen when I was younger. I don't believe in ghosts or anything really but I can't really explain this one. I was in a summer play at a local theatre. It was a kids thing they did at this historic theatre in town that some people claim is haunted but just because of sounds really. After our last performance, myself and abother kid got told to go and clean up the boys dressing room. Hang up costumes, clean up trash etc. Basically the way it was set up was the boys dressing room was at one end of the hall,about 30 feet away is the girls dressing room, and in the middle of the hall is a long stair case that goes up to backstage. At some point we heard someone knock on the door. I stopped what I was doing and opened it, and no one was there. It had taken me a minute to set down my shit and open the door so I figured whoever it was left. A little while later there was another knock, and this time I walked straight over and opened it, and again, no one. At this point the other kid and I figured it was one of the girls, who were cleaning their own room, fucking with us. We waited, hands on the door, for another knock. A few minutes later it came, and we immediately flung the door open. There was no one there, no one running up the steps,and the girls dressing room door hadn't opened or shut (these were those big doors with the air piston things that let them slowly swing shut)
It was spooky as hell and we got the fuck out of there.

As an impartial 3rd party to this discussion, I was talking to a friend of mine recently about the possibility of being reincarnated into the same life over and over for all of time. Doomed to make the same mistakes forever. I don't necessarily believe that this is what happens, just something to think about. All I know is, I really just hope that there is some sort of "answer" when we pass away. I've thought about suicide (not in a serious way but more contemplative) not out of depression but out of sheer curiosity.

I understand that memories may not survive forever, but i think what hes saying is that the soul energy will live on. I wish i could explain it better. People with drastic view points of mortality sometimes find it incapable of understanding one anothers beliefs. I am glad of how civil this discussion is. I made a suggestion what it might be.
It might be reasonable yes. But during my life I found that sometimes following reason might lead you to the dead end and false assumptions. While life in itself is an absurd.
Some more unorthodox way of thinking might open you to new possibilities.
After discovering something though you still must categorize it and try to "brake it apart" so to speak to fully understand how it works.
Like in nature there must be balance in science as well.

I wouldn't. I highly doubt that there is any kind of grand answer. Human being are wired to believe that our minds are the one constant in our world, but it simply isn't the case. Every cell in the human body is replaced over a period of approximately seven years. You share virtually nothing in common with your younger self. Are you still you? Of course you are, so from this we must determine that there is in fact no such thing as 'you' and what we are is an amalgamation of other elements.
