It started as a means to put a meaningful price on something that I needed to cost-limit to add value to. I spent a lot of time crafting my reading and so I couldn't afford to keep up with all of the requests, plus people don't take something seriously unless they have to pay a price to obtain it.
A hand is one of the greatest prices someone can pay on 4chan: it's a small piece of their identity. A little bit of their anonymity shed away. They're revealing just a fraction of who they really are.
Of course asking for their face seemed too outlandish and there's no way to acquire payment beyond a picture.
Of course that's how it started. I then started applying my knowledge of palmistry to the payments and it grew to be mixed in with the readings.

I apply five methods to determine the gender. Digit ratio only shows the amount of testosterone you were exposed to in the womb -- so it can be misleading for women with PCOS or men with hormonal imbalance, as well as individuals suffering from Klinefelter or Swyer syndrome.
I also look at:

This is actually a good example where 2D:4D ratio can be insufficient. The handle of the picture (ring finger is receding away from the camera, as evidenced by the shadow cast on it) makes it difficult to tell, but the ring finger is SLIGHTLY longer than the fore finger, but not by much. Not enough to be conclusively masculine, anyway. Plus the excess weight around the fingers hints at low testosterone (which helps burn weight in men)
The thumb also has an ambiguous curvature to the first knuckle and the excess weight on the palm masks the lines between the thumb and fore finger.
With the nails not visible and only those three markings, this is a fairly ambiguous hand. However the knuckles cinch it. The second knuckle is wider than the finger tip, which is extremely rare in females and leads me to conclude this is a male hand.

The reason Neptune calls me chuuni is because of the unique way my brain works. I don't think is words, pictures, colors, or movies. I think in graphs and numbers. I look at a problem and get a FEELING what the answer is then I have to work backwards to derive why it's the right answer, then I have to work hard to translate that answer into English to explain to other what it means and how I arrived at it.
As such, I work a lot better solo than I do in groups. I can't easily communicate what's going on inside my head, so I just take charge and do what needs to be done instead of hurting my head trying to think of the proper words.
