1st- The throwing out of skills/perks and making it like Skyrim was awful. Part of what made Fallout great was playing with different builds.
2nd- Bethesda really needs to drop the "everyone is a vault dweller" angle.
3rd- WHERE ARE THE FUCKING AUTODOCS?!
4th- They really also need to drop the BoS shit. The Western brotherhood was pretty much wiped out by 2, the Midwestern/Texas Brotherhood aren't even cannon.
Power Armor in 4 was fucking great though.

First, look up character builds online. Took me 3 tries before I found one that worked for me on my own.
Second, this is strategy. Play it like X-com.
Third, think. There are about a dozen ways to handle a situation. not only are there different sides, but different ways to handle it. You can avoid the problem with diplomacy, shoot you way out, steal the payment ahead of time, kill both sides and take over everything yourself. The options are endless. There is a way to passively finnish the game with only acting in self defence, and avoiding 99% of conflict.
Fourth- real consequenses. If you are an evil person (and you can basicly be appoco-hitler) people will run from you on sight. If you are good, you will be renowned. But there are in betweens too. If you gain reputation with anybody, other people will know. This can be good or bad. This world feels alive.
