Only "Elo hell" that Does exist is around high plat low diamond, just because peeps already in diamond doesn't give a shit and it wont be an easy carry like lower Elo. There you actually have to exploit your team. I found the highest win rate around that area is using your team as a distraction and go for the split push. Fighting with your team is to many variables you cant control and you could lose the game in one bad fight. If you split there will be too much pressure on the map for the enemies to take objectives after they wiped your team

Elo is used for the ranks in CSGO too, although you don't see it. Elo is a great system.

A person playing at gold level will struggle to climb out of silver, and a person playing at silver level will struggle to climb out of bronze. Season 6 is the worst because smurfing, scripting, and premades vs. solos all just seem to have increased tenfold, not to mention everyone just spamming the most broken meta champions like yasuo and zac and riot ignoring the imbalances. Only thing I can suggest is to stop playing Teemo. I know he's good, but shitheads seem to tilt just from having a Teemo on their team so it's not worth it.

I've been playing for a while, about 2k normal blind picks, ~500 intermediate bots and about 300 ranked games. Highest I got cause of EUNE polack community is Platinium 4, lowest silver 1-2.
I made a new account, as I play Zed only, rarely Draven if adc needed and Yas if top and in placements I got into gold.
Isn't that hard, just try to focus on farming, even if your team is feeding as fuck keep chillin' em, never flame. Splitpush, play def and you will make it.

Well, you need to take a more carrying role, take objectives and use your advantage when you get fed. And usually you canĀ“t take out an entire team with teemo. Learn i new champ like irelia, jax or trynda. Or vayne which is my main now. The cancer champs that can carry and kill everyone with the right items and skill.
