I had this kid at the first school I taught at who was...well.
First, he had ADHD. Okay, a lot of kids have ADHD. It was bad, but even then, I've had quite a few of those.
But he also had...well, I'm not sure there was a medical diagnosis for it. But anything would make him angry. And I do mean anything.
I couldn't even say his name without him flipping shit and screaming at me to go back to (insert city where I came from) or something like that.

Oh absolutely. There's quite a few of my older kids I have to admit I'm basically friends with too. Maybe not close friends, but we've got common interests and they'll come down to my room in their free time to just chill and talk to me about sports or books or whatever.

I definitely have favorites. It's natural as a human being.
